We have been retained by our client in the Insurance sector for the recruitment and selection of a Customer Relationship Manager. The Customer Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing a
portfolio of Executive clients by providing a full spectrum of individual Insurance
products and services with a view of retaining and growing the business Portfolio. The individual is responsible for achieving results through own
efforts.
• University degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Marketing, or Business Studies
• Operational Insurance and Risk Management Experience
• Sales and Retail Product Knowledge - Advanced
• Relational management - Core
Underwriting and New Business Development functions
• Identifying prospective clients for our business and converting these into new business sales .
• Assessment of risk and preparation of quotations indicating terms commensurate with the risk.
• Making mid-term policy changes and amendments. Assisting/providing information to Credit Controllers on premium accounting queries or discrepancies.
• Monitoring loss ratio for portfolios and implementing necessary improvement measures. Providing technical support and advice including recommending appropriate coverage for risks submitted.
• Manage policies and meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and service sales, client retention and customer acquisition.
• Adhere to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of client’ opportunities. Ensure that the functions and servicing program of clients are adhered to.
• Compliance with laid down contractual arrangements i.e. Service Level and Administration Agreements.
• Identify new products/opportunities to complement and grow current business in line with client needs.
• Cross selling and upselling of client's products to high networth clients
Marketing:
• Markets full spectrum of Insurance products
• Cross sells group products.
• Reviews client product portfolio regularly and recommends new and enhanced products to suit client portfolio.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and ensures that products are aligned to meet client needs and to ensure sustainable growth.
• Sourcing new Business through acting on Leads and using own initiative.
• Conducting market intelligence and research on potential clients and competitors.
• Provide assistance to Marketing division when required.
• The businesss Client entertainment through birthday celebrations, golf and other activities such as economic briefs and luncheons etc.
• Servicing of existing client portfolio enhancing Corporate Image.
• Builds a pipeline of Executive clients and proactively engages them to achieve sales targets
Risk Management:
• Uses specialist technical knowledge to evaluate and manage the validity of policy documents and determine and manage the liability of claims.
• Determines, selects, and accepts risk and/or liability on behalf of the organisation.
• Evaluates proposals against business rules and practices.
• Exercises discretion in decision making within standardised practice.
• Complies with anti-money laundering processes and practices and report any incidents in a timely manner.
Client Service Delivery
• Meets regularly with intermediaries and clients to address service-related concerns as to strengthen existing relationships and manage client experience
• Takes responsibility for the delivery of superior individualized service to clients.
• Build key relationships with industry players.
• Work closely with Backoffice service providers to ensure timely settlement of claims and query resolution.
• To expeditiously deal with client complaints and escalate within agreed timeframes when necessary
• Works closely with partners to ensure the business offering is seamlessly extended to them and managed
