Our Client in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Logistic Officer. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and
experienced persons for the above-mentioned post.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in handling International Logistics & Shipment.
- Degree: Should be a graduate with some specialization in some Logistics course
- Team Player: should have shown skills in managing a team and worked closely with various stakeholders.
- Physical handling deliveries against purchases and shipment against sales:
- Planning for warehousing & shipment activities based on business plan.
- Allocation of stocks to shipments as per quality/specification sold.
- Efficient Documentation Control:
- Ensure Pre & Post shipment documentation from external stakeholders are done in time.
- Relationship Management
- Bringing operational efficiencies and cost control:
- Reduce carrying costs & cycle time through faster turnaround of cargo.
- Efficient planning for warehousing, container booking, Freight, Free Days & other terms negotiation.
- Budget alignment & periodical direct cost review with business head.
- Reporting & Re-conciliation
- Regular Stock re-cons, material balancing & ensuring physical positions matches reported position.
- Quality control of stock and managing franchise and tolerance stocks.
- Prepare and circulate regular reports covering various aspects of execution.
- Reconciling/checking all freight invoices for payments as per agreed rates
- Ensure buyers payments are released within 48-72 hours from the delivery confirmations while following Co. Process.
