AUTOMOTIVE

Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for an experienced Debtors Executive in Level 4 to join their Finance and Accounts Department. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above-mentioned post.

• ACCA or equivalent
• Must have Collection/Credit exposure
• Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Understanding of retail finance 
• Must have experience in debt collection and credit management
• 3-5+ Years of hands-on experience in Automotive/FMCG/Manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP Accounting Systems will be desirable

• Reconciliation of debt book plus ensuring that all accounts reconciled are signed off
• Daily follow up on overdue payments and review of debtors' provisions
• Fortnight follow up with the lawyer and monthly updates on the legal cases. Tracker, review and follow up on rescheduled debts
• Conduct weekly debtors' reviews and follow up on the previous review feedback.
• Monitor all rescheduled debts and report on any consistent customer defaulted payment
• Share customer statements monthly, 7 days before month end
• Update customers on any payments that are about to fall due 2 days in advance
• Review monthly debtors' report prepared by AR before submission
• Tracking and reporting on payments in respect to already written off receivables
• As per policy prepare debtor's provisioning report on a monthly basis
• Regular tracking of AC Bus balance, furnishing Barrett with quarterly collection statements
• Carries out any other duties as directed by Line Manager
