Our client in the state owned enterprises/ parastatals sector is looking for a Provincial Strategic Information and Evaluation Officer. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation activities within the province to support strategic planning, decision-making, and performance improvement. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or Strategic Information is preferred.

  • Design and implement data collection processes for provincial programs and projects.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks and systems for provincial projects.
  • Present evaluation findings to provincial management, national strategic teams.
  • Use collected data to provide insights and input into provincial strategic planning processes.
  • Ensure that all monitoring and evaluation processes comply with regulatory requirements and national standards.
  • Train provincial staff on data collection methods, monitoring systems, and evaluation techniques.
  • Conduct routine data quality audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of collected data
  • Generate periodic reports on provincial performance
