We have been retained by our client in the Quasi-Government sector to facilitate the recruitment and selection of an experienced caretaker-groundsman. The role of the candidate is to maintain the presentation of the exterior and interior of the property and general
maintenance and cleaning duties as required. Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals.
- 5 Ordinary Level passes including English.
- Relevant gardening and maintenance certificate.
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Cleans designated areas to set standards as required, ensuring highest possible standards of cleanliness are maintained daily (reception, toilets, corridors).
- Replenishes cleaning materials required and ensures they are stored and handled in the correct manner.
- Maintains cleaning equipment in good working order and report any defects/issues.
- Undertakes minor repairs and maintenance of furnishings and buildings as and when required.
- Carries out risk assessments and escalates as necessary.
- Mows the lawn, waters the gardens, and tends to the flowers to remain blooming three times a week.
- Ensures that all refuse is stored appropriately and disposed of promptly weekly.
