We are seeking for an experienced candidate to fill in the position of Operations Manager for our client in the Tobacco Industry. The ideal candidate will oversee tobacco contract farming operations, ensuring that both production and debt recovery targets are achieved.
- Degree in Agronomy or any related field.
- At least three (3) years experience preferably in tobacco contract farming.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure to deadlines.
- Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills are essential.
- Overseeing tobacco contract farming operations along profitable lines.
- Manages the inputs credit scheme along profitable lines.
- Develops and implements strategies to maximize profits and productivity.
- Reviews operations budget.
- Maintains stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate performance reviews for operations department.
- Ensure adherence to company policies.
- Monitors competitor activity and industry trends.
