Applications are invited from suitable, qualified, and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned job position that has arisen in our client's organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, economics or related field
• Master's in Business or ACCA
• At least 5 years experience and 3 of those should be in a senior finance role particularly in the banking sector
• Strong understanding of financial principles
• Must have financial analysis, financial modelling, data analysis, forecasting and leadership skills 

• Direct financial planning and strategy
• Oversee statutory audits and tax functions
• Develop and maintain financial models
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
• Lead the annual budgeting process 
• Manage cash flow and liquidity by forecasting cash needs, optimizing cash balances, and overseeing cash disbursements and collections
• Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the organisation's assets and interests
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with organizational goals
• Analyse financial data, performance metrics, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and financial reporting
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial goals
