Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned job position that has arisen in our client's organization. The purpose of the job is to maintain the organization’s foreign currency market position by ensuring the bureau de change operates under the expected guidelines of the Exchange Control and Anti-money Laundering Act.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
- At least 2 years of experience
- Communication skills, interpersonal, analytical thinking, customer relationship management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Continuously assesses the market and keeps abreast with any changes in regulatory requirements
- Communicates rates to both internal and external clients
- Executes foreign currency transactions for clients
- Files and safe keeps KYC documents
- Negotiates prices with clients and executes transactions
- Establishes business relationships with clients to develop ongoing business opportunities
- Ensures safety precautionary measures are observed when moving foreign currency
- Reports suspicious money laundering and financing of terrorism activities to superiors
- Ensures the organisation is in compliance with underlying regulations
- Conducts training on incoming products, existing products and anti-money laundering policies.
